“This is Love: The Cross That Multiplies the Flock”

Key Texts: Acts 15:11; John 12:23–24; John 20:1–18

Point 1 – This Is Love: The Cross Demonstrates Sacrificial Grace
Acts 15:11
John 12:23–24

Point 2 – Grace Secured, Then Multiplied: The Resurrection Power
The cross shows love. The empty tomb unleashes the multiplication.

Mary comes to the tomb expecting death. Instead: stone rolled away, angels saying, "He is not here; He has risen!" Jesus appears, calls her by name, and sends her: "Go tell my brothers."

One woman becomes the first evangelist. Then the disciples see Him, then 500 at once, then Pentecost: 3,000 added in a day!

Why the explosion? Because the same grace that saved us at the cross now lives in us through the risen Christ. The Holy Spirit takes forgiven, grace-redeemed people and turns them into multipliers. One seed dies — many rise. One Savior dies and rises — a flock multiplies across the world.

Point 3 – Our Response: Let This Love Multiply Through Us Because this is love — because grace saved us — we don't hoard it. We multiply the flock.

Three ways this Easter:

1.  Receive the grace afresh — If you've never fully trusted in Christ's finished work on the cross, today is the day. Acts 15:11 is for you.

2.  Reflect the love — Invite someone next Sunday. Say, "This is love — Jesus died and rose for you. Come see what grace can do."

3.  Reproduce the flock — Disciple the new ones. Help them grow so they can multiply too. One grace-received life becomes many.

He is risen...
